Patriarch Korsun is at the head of both House Mareneth and the city of Celik.
He is a man of average height and weight in his sixties with clean cut gray
hair, always wearing the finest cloths someone can find. He is at the command
of an impressive number of agents and troops making his trading house prosper
even if it's settled far from other great markets. One remarkable fact is
that he has gained the favor of the Sun Singers tribe, possibly the major
elf tribe in the southern regions of Athas.
Korsun live in Celik in a somptuous domain built by his ancestors when they
settled there after the destruction of Kalidnay. There, he rules like a
king over the citizens (mercenaries and ex-slaves for the most) with his
best agents and family. Everyone living there is free and safe as long as
he works for the good of House Mareneth. Korsun is very pleased of the situation
and try to keep it that way by making House Mareneth maintain a low profile
in the cities and villages of the Tablelands, so that Celik remains mostly
a mystery to the people of the north.
An important part of the city being still ruins where foul creatures wander,
Korsun has decided recently to pay adventurers to clean the slums and make
the place habitable. This offer has attracted many wandering humanoids to
Celik and is making the city very busy.
